Susan began her college career at Northwestern University, studying flute with Walfrid Kujala of the Chicago Symphony; then transferred to California where she went on to receive her Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees in Flute Performance from San Jose State University under the tutelage of Isabelle Chapuis Starr of the Paris Conservatory. She has studied, performed and taught extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. Susan currently lives in Los Angeles where she freelances as a performer, teacher, composer/arranger and recording artist.

Together, ANGELS OF VENICE has an eclectic mix of music that moves from the 1400s to the 1970s immersed in a feel of medieval mystery with Middle Eastern rhythms that will amaze your senses!!
Angels of Venice was another standing room only house concert, and a great success! The combination of harp, flute, cello, percussion, produced a simply magical show. With an enchanting arrangement of candles, draperies and other adornments, Angels of Venice led a fully packed house through centuries of music with their own eclectic mix of sound and vision that moved us from the Middle Ages through the Twentieth Century. Their music is immersed in a feel of medieval mystery with Middle Eastern rhythms that simply amazes the senses!!
