AMY KUNEY has quite a background for someone so young. "I'm like a cat with different lives," she says about herself. "So far, I've only lived three of them. In my first life, I was a spoiled white American kid until I was 13, when my family and I moved to Honduras. I felt like I was born again, this time as a foreigner; I had to learn how to speak and live all over again in a new culture."

"At 19, I was reborn as a writer/artist in Los Angeles, recently signing an artist development deal and a publishing deal with Centinela Music. I still have to pinch myself every morning to remember where I am. I live through my writing and singing. My songs are like my diary of the travels and experiences I have had, and I know that there are more to come." Amy is currently being co-produced by studio veterans Peter Barker and Mandi Martin.

We fell in love with Amy's songs and her voice the first time we heard her, and we knew that our audience would too. Amy Kuney certainly surprised everyone (except those of us who had seen her before) with her amazing songwriting, lyrical maturity, sparkling charm, and warm humor. A few years from now -- when she's famous -- when people say that they saw her perform in our living room, nobody is going to believe them! For the House Concert here, Amy was accompanied by Melissa Kaplan on guitar and Heather T. on percussion.
